Student Recruitment and VISA consultation Executive

We are seeking a well experienced individual to join our student recruitment and international transfer unit. You will be engaged with student recruitment work including counselling and be able to handle all student visa matters to support our students with direct and pathway transfers to overseas Universities. Requirements: At least 2 years of experience in visa and migration consultancy Knowledge of visa and migration processes in various countries. Ideal candidate must have student recruitment, counselling and visa handling experience and, be able to:
  1. Handle inquiries and recruit students to our academic programmes offered.
  2. Organise and handle student counselling sessions as required
  3. Guide students and their parents for visa applications and supporting documents.
  4. Assist students for document preparation and handle online visa application.
  5. Update with Immigration rules and boarder procedures related to overseas countries
  6. Contribute by coordinating academic, research & development works of the institute
  7. Update with in-depth knowledge and experience in immigration rules and student visa processing
  8. Support business development of the organization and liaise with overseas collaborations.

HOD/Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business and Management

GISMS is seeking an experienced academic to lead the department of Business and Management while contributing to lecturing and research activities in the relevant areas in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.  The successful candidate will require to lecture Business and Management, Economics and marketing related papers for both domestic and International pathway students. Further, the purpose of the Senior Lecturer in Management is to undertake learning facilitation, research and research supervision and assist with programme development where appropriate. Collaboration with external stakeholders and marketing staff will be required to achieve the development goals of the institution. In addition, the following is considered, and the ideal profile required:
  • A PhD in a Business or related discipline but preferably in financial management.
  • Master’s qualification may be considered if the candidate can demonstrate relevant industry experience preferably at management level with strong research background.
  • Demonstrated evidence of course delivery at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • A record of research publications and currently research active.
  • Experience in provision of academic leadership
  • Experience in successfully evaluating students’ performance (assignments, exams, research and projects)
  • Sound Administrative and Communication Skills with enhanced public relationship experience.
Preference will be given if you can contribute lecturing following subject areas in Bachelor and master’s levels: Business Economics, Organizational Management, Management Information Systems. Business Mathematics and Foundation Economics.  

English and IELTS Teacher

We are looking for an experience academic who can teach English language for our graduate, diploma and foundation students and IELTS and PTE support classes for those who wish to transfer overseas for studies. You have to create a supportive learning environment which will help our students improve their academic communication skills to make their learning goals in graduate level success. Through interesting and diverse methods, you’ll teach them the important rules of reading, writing, and speaking in English. You’ll oversee their progress by tracking their assignment and exam grades, in order to provide useful feedback. The ideal candidate must have at least two years of experience in teaching English language for degree-level students and conducting IELTS support classes to gain good scores.  

Digital Marketing Executive

This is a critical role at GISM, with responsibility for ensuring that our brands and our academic product portfolios have an effective digital strategy, incorporating campaigns, brand building, social media content curation and community management. Working across a range of platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Tik Tok) this role will own and advance our digital strategy in addition to managing our websites (including SEO) to ensure that they remain fresh and relevant to students, parents across both local and global education markets. This role will consist of:
  • Implementing the social media strategy of the company.
  • Managing, implementing, and optimising campaigns across paid advertising channels (Facebook, Google, Instagram).
  • Developing and managing our organic social media strategy.
  • Managing our YouTube channel and posting relevant video clips.
  • Interacting with the GISM online community in a positive and engaging manner.
  • Managing campaigns to increase brand awareness.
  • Manage, maintain, and improve our existing website.
  • Ensuring coherent branding and messaging across the potential students and parents.
  • Developing and implementing online content.
  To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • At least 3 years’ proven experience working in a digital and social media marketing capacity
  • Previous experience in education marketing (strongly preferred) ideally with previous exposure to international marketing
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in digital marketing or similar
  • An adaptable, proactive and collaborative approach along with the ability to develop & maintain effective working relationships
  • An eagerness to create content – ideally supported by the ability to think creatively
  • An appetite for new technology and communicating with consumers/customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills together with exceptional planning and organisational ability
  • Experience in designing advertising materials, and you should be able to do content creation
