Master of Management – Human Resource Management (HRM)

Programme Overview

Massey University’s Master of Management (Human Resource Management) provides an international perspective on human resource management. The program is designed to equip students with an in-depth knowledge of HR theory and strategic skills to apply that knowledge across different industries and organizations.

Entry Requirements

To enter the Master of Management you have been awarded or qualified with:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in the field of Management, Business Studies, Information Science, Engineering and biological/physical Science or, in similar field with a minimum B grade average OR
  • Equivalent qualification with experience accepted by the GISM faculty board of the Business AND
  • Selection will be on the basis of an interview.
Career Prospects

The Master of Management facilitates progression into management and senior leadership roles. Human Resource Management major specialization provides an enormous opportunity to start working in higher-level management in various enterprises. In almost all organizations in both public and private sector need qualified human resources but highly utilization of human resources in important for the development. Therefore, many opportunities will be open for these graduates in New Zealand and overseas.
